91 Legacy TBE vs. 02+ Exhaust

Does anyone have a side by side comparison? or measurements? what i would have to cut?

on the 91 vs. 02-07

1000$ exhaust system i don't really want to cut to much or weld more then i have to! hahaha

It has a link to what had to be done to fit the Impreza axle back section onto a Legacy. The mid-pipe just needs to be extended a few inches. It should be pretty straight forward. The axle back is the more complicated section.

So basically the downpipe is the same, just needs to be extended from the axleback to muffler?

The mid pipe and axle back need to be extended and the muffler hangers need to be tweaked on the one side..

Last question i sear, will the aftermarket down pipe ( say cobb ) bolt up to the stock exhaust?

I believe it should.

However, I can't say if Cobb alters there DP length at all. If it's setup for stock length and position and the stock WRX stuff works, then the cobb stuff should work.
