I'd say sending unit is good, if the car is stock find one from another Subaru. Or if it's moded get a aftermarket one or if you plan to mod it.

Pulling the fuel pump out is extremely easy. You will have no problem doing it yourself

Get a walbro 255 lph pump and conversion kit. They're relatively cheap and will handle any future upgrades you throw at the car. There's several threads on the BBS with info on the specific part #'s for the pump & kit

You can try getting another turbo legacy pump. I think I've actually got one laying around. If you're interested in it, shoot me a pm and make me an offer.

Check your fuel pump relay, too. Could be something as simple as that if you're not positive that it's the pump itself.

i tried but when i took the dash apart and looked where it was supposed to be it wasnt there it was supposed to be on top of the main relay but it wasnt there but i checked the voltage going to the pump and it was getting power so its gotta be the pump i take it

Yea it's gotta be the pump.

Walbro's aren't very expensive though, IIRC it's cheaper than a new pump. But I guess you could go with a used stock pump if you really wanna save money.

If you get the Walbro, make sure to get the correct pump & adapter kit. The correct part #'s for the pump & adapater kit are in this post.
