Get the impreza kit(02-07). It'll work on your car.

GS-341 is the one to get if you want plug-and-play.

Right now I don't recall what the exact difference is. I remember researching it years ago and my research showed that the 342 would need modifications while the 341 would not. I bought the 341 and one day, quite unexpectedly, the fuel pump died on a street in a neighborhood I had never been in before. I was about an hour's drive from my home but a friend came to get me, we went home to get the 341, drove back to my stalled car, and got the car running within minutes.

From my vague recollection, the electrical connections coming off the pump is different. One pump had two separate terminals onto which you would attach ring connectors and the other pump had a connector instead of the two separate terminals. I don't know if the install kit specific for your vehicle and the 342 pump (listed for many wrx's) would really make it plug and play but I do know that the 341 was plug and play for me.
