WTB : 3in inlet, twin tip muffler

Post by skid542 »

Auto-X season is coming up and it's time to get the Legacy back out of the garage and onto the road. I'm back down in the CDA area where the 5-0 cares about the loudness of your car and the flash of your muffler. I currently have a big rice can that I just don't like and is apt to get me pulled over. Additionally I've been wanting the lower key look of a twin tip muffler for some time.

So, does anyone have a decent twin tip muffler for a 3" inlet? I'm looking for something that's not obnoxiously loud but I also recongize I have a 3" TBE so quiet is all relative. Cost is an issue and I'm not looking to spend a lot but I have some things you'd be interested in as a trade or trade + cash.

Let me know what you have.

Thank you,

Lee

Let me know if interested. This had a bit of a drone @ 70 (2800 rpm), which is why I removed it. Try it, you like, buy it. :-)

I like your thinking Lee. I'm not a "fan of the can" haha. I have a twin tip muffler too. Mine is autospeed and I like it alot, but I've always liked magnaflow as well

Todd, awesome! I was wondering if you still had this laying around. I'll give you a call tonight if you're going to be around and it works for you.

Matt, haha yeah. At first I saw that you replied and I was like "yes, he wants his old muffler back" :). My last can I liked but it was angled appropriately and tucked well. This one, just doesn't look right. But I also think these cars look best with the twin tips and I want to keep as much of my sleeper status as I can. I've missed my twin tips since I first did the 3" TBE a couple years ago.
