WRX swap

Post by Mt.HOODrat »

sorry guys im sure its here but i cant find anything on the specific question i have.

there are a few wrecked wrx bugeye prospects im eyeing. if i have everything, the harnesses, dash, all drivetrain components from the wrecked wrx, is it a possible swap? i know the leggy is obd1, so do you use the whole dash and harnesses or what?

basically, what all is needed for a complete 02-03 wrx drivetrain swap into a 94 wagon?

Complete harness merge (WRX engine control merged with Legacy body wiring).

The instument cluster is optional, but easier to make work.

The dash makes the instument cluster look at home.

The door panels will not mate well with the WRX dash.

so you use the legacy dash with the wrx cluster? id rather keep the leggy dash anyways, my black interior is minty.

so you use the legacy body/dash harness and the wrx engine harness? how difficult is it to merge them?
