WTB: '92-94 Subaru Legacy AWD 4eat transmission

Post by Chefasaurus »

I can't find ANY locally, and I need it ASAP. Turbo or Non-turbo, I don't care. As long as it's a 3.90:1 FDR, then I'll take it.

Can anybody help? Give me a shipped price to 32205.

I have one, you need just the trans and not the driveline and diff? I'll find out how much shipping would be...

As long as it's a 3.90 diff, then it should be all the same, right?

Yes, it's from a '92 SS. I'm all the way out in AZ so the freight cost might make it not worth it though. I'll look into it unless you have a hookup? Is $300 plus shipping fair?

Yeah. If it's cheaper to ship it to a business address, you can ship it to my work, which is in 32207.

My '93 N/A should have the same TCU, flexplate, and torque converter as the '92 turbo, right?

If not, I'll probably need those, too.

Not sure about TCU, don't have that. Flexplate I would expect so? I do have the torque converter which you can have with it. Yeah shipping to a business was my other question, cause I can send it from my works dock, make it a lot cheaper. Cheapest quote I've gotten so far is $275. Pretty sure I can get cheaper just was too slammed at work to make any calls. I'll let you know ASAP, will make time tomorrow even if it's on break lol!

From what I'm reading, sounds like your TCU will work fine, it would just be extra work if you want the manumatic portion to work as well. Also don't see any info that would say your flexplate wouldn't work.

Well the hookup I have didn't do me any better. If you have any contacts let me know. Does your business have a forklift or dock? That will keep the cost down. I have a dock where I will ship from.
