Coil pack and fuel pump
So i am kinda new to these newer subarus. So here is what i am thinking is there any thing like a bigger fuel pump to give us a little more power? And second is there anything we can do to the coil pack for the same reason.

Re: Coil pack and fuel pump
Can you please provide some additional information on your vehicle. Is this a turbo or non-turbo engine? In both cases, just adding a larger fuel pump is not going to give you any additional power. On the turbo cars, if you run higher boost a larger fuel pump is a good idea to ensure you get adequate fueling.
Coil pack upgrades typically does not give you any more power, but can help the engine run smoother if the existing coil pack is worn. MSD makes an ignition system that may give you a little more spark energy. I've been running their DIS-2 ignition for about 9 years now and have been happy with it.

The MSD DIS-2 ignition may help. Lightweight pullies may help, as well as an exhaust, muffler or if you want to go nuts, full exhaust. Cams may also be an option, but much more involved and costly.
The unfortunate thing about non-turbo engines is that you have to spend a lot more money to get small horsepower increases compared to a turbo engine.
