The 99 f150 might be ok there a pos but honestly at work we have many not 5spd but they last a while! Decent fuel economy too.

If he had the cash, you shoulda sold it to him. Let Darwin do his work.

Re: Re: they want what they want.
This is kind of a lousy attitude if you ask me.beatersubi wrote:If he had the cash, you shoulda sold it to him. Let Darwin do his work.
My grandmother used to drive Nissan Z cars, and at one time she had a 280ZX 5spd. Deciding she didn't want a stickshift anymore, she put it up for sale shortly thereafter. The first person to contact her on it was a father looking for a first car for his 16-year-old son. She was very, very reluctant to sell it to them, as she thought it was too much car for a new driver. Nonetheless, she sold it to them... and two weeks later, the kid killed himself in it. She's regretted it ever since.
Everyone was stupid when they were 16 years old... including you and me.
OP, I'm glad you had the wisdom and conscience to refuse to sell the bike to that kid. Hopefully he understands the favor you just did for him.

But, more likely, he'll just go buy one from someone else.DerFahrer wrote:Hopefully he understands the favor you just did for him.
Your viewpoint is similar to those who believe that guns kill people.
I've been told before that my attitude is bad. I simply think that people should be responsible for their actions.

Re: they want what they want.
what year is your ZX9?
please say its a 96...please.
those year bikes ran 9 sec quarter mile stock.
that kid would have killed himself AND someone else.
