Recent update, Florin was Nice enough to ship me an injector overnight for an FCD which is badass. So i just got my injector today. I will be installing it on Sunday along with doing a few minor things that have been on my list.

Im also thinking i need to go buy some more shit to make some more fcds because there's a few that i have seen asking about them..

Hmm i smell money.

Well, im finally getting a couple things done here at the house.

First off im building FCDs today, i Sent Florin1 awhile back and when he went to install it, it failed so i spent the last few hours building him a new one.

Now im building myself one because i have reason to believe mine crapped out on me last week. So we'll see.

I also have stuff to produce 3 more afterwards.....

after the tape dries im going to install it in my SS and make sure it works then go see if i can find a case or something to put it in with some epoxy to make it look a little better.

Wow it's been awhile......

Here's an update, stripped 1st on my transmission, WOW!!!!! Anyways i bought the transmission back from duane that needed to be rebuilt and just threw it in for now.it drives now but 1st gear is kind of loud....

Anyways now i have to start working on FCDs cuz someone is WAY over due for one.

Today im taking that POS front bumper off and putting my primer grey turbo bumper on.

No worries brother. I ended up swapping my ecu for the rob tune, which includes a 18 psi fcd. So I'm not desperate for the fcd anymore. I'll take it when you're finished and put it in my other car, which is currently not running. GL on your trans... I saw a guy on rs25 selling a cable trans for 200 w/ diff here in wa.

cable trans wouldn't be a bad idea, what i really need to do as well is get ahold of 2 main input shafts for a turbo 5mt and rebuild the 2 parts transmissions i have at my house, then i'll have a fleet

Now on to what i was able to get done today.

Primer'd turbo bumper installed, grille painted flat black, and put a few missing nuts and bolts on my back bumper... This is the first time in a LONG time i have actually done something i wanted to do to the legacy, instead of "HAVING" to do something. Ive been going thru some tough shit in life since the middle of january and man im tired of stressing... So i made myself happy today and played with my baby!




When i can afford it, im going to do the rest of the car in primer, after some bondo work on the door. Also im going to go with a satin black for the trim and grille...

Looks much better with the turbo bumper.
I don't know about Subies, but more primer on a muscle car makes it go faster.

Actually i sealed the deal with him today New transmission is in my garage now!!!!!!!! now as soon as my back stops hurting its back to work with the SS then head gaskets on the TW and i'll be back to having 2 good cars. YAY!!!!!!

And i have a garage now, so i can work whenever.

No shit? Let's go for a cruise or just meet up one of these days! I just took my car through some fun S curves and it put a smile on my face. I finally adjusted my dampers for the first time and that made the handling much better. No more oscillating BS. It feels so much tighter now.

How'd you score that trans? I want it, lol.

traded my emanage ultimate for the transmission. didn't want to get rid of it, but we all have to comprimise at some point in time.

Couple days ago i decided to go ahead and break the rest of my bad transmission, and sure enough i did. got in the gravel just down the road, doing about 10-15, clutch in, brought the rpms up to 5,500, and dumped the clutch.... And redline instantly! I thought i would have gotten 2-3 of those but nope, only took one. Anyways i had my fun that day going around the block and starting off in second. I had fun tho.

Anyways today after making room in my garage, i started to pull my transmission. 3 hours later, it's out. YAY!!!

And ofcourse first thing i did was drain the fluid.

Actually, now i can say i have 3 broken gearsets and 3 stripped input shafts since i just got this transmission out lol

Just had a Small set back. Now im pulling the motor and doing the oil pan and oil seperator plate. Also noticed i have a coolant leak on the upper radiator hose, time for some new hoses i think. I'm going to order the GC8 Silicone kit i think.

Also im going to either pick up an ej20/25 short block for my wife's car and swap that in there when i do her head gaskets. then i'll tear down that 22t and build it up.

Well i got quite a bit done today, pulled the engine after finishing my deck on my house. Took an hour just to get the engine out, man it's kind of a hassle with the JDM coolant resovoir on top of the coolant lines and trying to get the power steering pump out from under the turbo inlet. But i got it done. broke loose the bolts for the oil seperator plate in the bell housing, put some RTV on and PRESTO!!!!! Tomorrow i'll do the oil pan and throw the engine back in and then the next few days i have to relax. Got a couple of visits to make to the chiropractor.

I like productive days like this.

One thing i was concerned about is my coolant wasn't green, it's more of an orange color. I don't use orange coolant, so i would like some input on why it's orange. If it's a problem, then i need to take car of it right now.

Can't wait til it's out of the garage.

Are you using distilled water? It's probably from rust in your radiator, heater core, water pump and coolant pipes.

Do you have the original radiator or an aftermarket aluminum radiator with plastic end caps? Or do you have copper/brass one with metal end caps?
