I'd say a good 75% of the STi/WRX owners in my area are douche bags that fall under a few categories:
1: Young punk that their parents bought a WRX or STi for... First mods are usually DC, Monster stickers and/or a CAI/Can
2:Stuck up rich dudes that don't know anything about their car besides it's fast, way faster than your car,no matter what it is
3:Punks that came from a Honda background and think they are the shit beacause they bought a car that has 3x the power stock than their civic did, usually end up doing the same mods they did to their civic such as can/cai/stickers/schucks fender "vents", etc....
Cold air intake is giving them too much credit. Most those guys just remove the airbox and throw a stupid cone filter on so it sounds cool and they're dumb enough to believe they can gain 5-8hp like it says in all the tuner mags.

I flipped a bitch and followed him out of town to Lacey and we stopped and got out and realized we both went to school in tenino! Not only that but guess who's car it was....asc_up.
Small world. I told him about the board and I think he's going to sign up. Might even roll down to WCSS with us.
Pretty sure that guy works at the Schucks near me, kind of weird it's a bit of a drive, but I have seen him on one of the back roads that would lead to Tenino. Last time I saw him he didn't have any of those stickers though, but the wheels and lip were there.
I don't think it's the same guy. I think you saw the previous owner. I believe the guy who bought it from asc_up might have sold it to my friend afterwards. He said he bought it from an asian guy. Don't know if asc_up is asian or not. But I can't see him working in renton as a schuck's. There's tons of auto parts stores around here and other jobs, no reason to go drive all the way up to renton for a low paying job like that.
That's possible, I've been gone for a couple months so I haven't been by lately. I know sometimes they send people all over though, there's a girl that goes back and forth from a Renton Schucks to the Enumclaw Schucks, pretty long drive...
No, the dude that asc_up sold it to is the asian dude, i met up with him at the WCSS, he is pretty cool. I didn't know he sold it. I can' t believe how much that thing is getting tossed around
In the relatively rural area I live in, there are three different SS and two touring wagons besides mine. Two of the sedans are post facelift, one is winestone and the other is white. The other sedan is a 91 5 speed in silver, worked on it once a few weeks ago at my job. The TW's are white and silver like mine. I doubt any of them are on here.

That's what I figured. I don't know if asc_up painted his interior black but somebody did and it's all coming off now and looks like ass. It's not nearly as nice in person as it looks on the forum. I was kind of disappointed actually. The scoop was bondo'd on and is cracked all the way around. Shame, go through the trouble of painting it and do a poor job on the scoop. Also the engine bay wasn't painted nor were the door jams so those are all white still.

haha thats funny, I was actually thinking the same thing a few days ago when I was looking at my buddies wrx. I think it looks awesome on the sti's and wrx's but I just don't think it would look good on my car.... I won't be putting one on my car unless i see some more pics of his and it completely changes what i was picturing.
Its actually from a mid-'90s Acura Integra 4door. It doesn't fit perfectly and is rounded more than the lines on a Legacy, but it looks pretty good for what it is.

I saw a tanish pre-lift sedan today around 1:05 PM. Had an aftermarket, factory looking, wing that was mounted too far forwards on the trunk, it looked like there was about an inch or two from the wing and edge of the trunk. Anyone know who it is? I've never seen this one in Port Angeles before, I spotted it on highway 101 about a mile west of Albertsons, you were east bound and I was waiting to turn right onto the highway.

I think I saw that one yesterday too. Theres atleast one white sedan that I've seen multiple times, its either a 93 or 94. I saw it parked once and took the chance to look inside and its an auto, has an airbag, and has black interior thats really clean.
