Post by darkcrave »

I was drive a wrx today at my lot and noticed how much firmer the throttle pedel felt compared to the 91 SS. Is it from the spring or? And is it replaceable?

What year was the WRX? It may be drive by wire, and if so it has completely different setup for throttle pedal feel. Even if it was still a mechanical throttle, the throttle spring is likely stiffer.

I don't think your throttle spring is easily replacable. I'm sure a shop that does throttle body work could do it, but not sure it'd be worth the money. Personally, I like a little lighter feel to the throttle pedal. It makes it easier to modulate engine rpms.
