Front sway bar for my 92 SS

Post by sliverumble »

Im looking for an aftermarket front sway bar for my 92 SS. Ive looked on ebay and there are a few, I just wondered if anyone has one for sale on here, or anyone who knows where I could get one for a good price.
Thanks

Look for a whiteline bar, BSF20 or BSF18. The BSF20 is for an Impreza but works perfectly on the first gen turbo legacies. I believe they are little cheaper than the BSF18, which is the bar specifically meant/built for the turbo legacies.

You can aswell use a Tribeca 25mm front sway bar on your car.
I have one on my car and it works great!
My down fall to my suspension system is my weak sauce tires.... Goodyear integerity's

Tho you should probably get some rear bar thats close to the tribeca bar. I get some oversteer if i want it.

But ya. Do some searching and you will find out what ya need and how to do it.

As well its cheap like i think...$75 for the bar.

Skip the Whiteline, you can get a WRX wagon front bar for like $20 on Nasioc and it's a 20mm. Or Tribeca if you want bigger, but personally I like having a stiffer rear bar and 25 is a bit much already for the street...

I believe the 2.5 wagon also had a 20mm bar, but I'm not positive

Yea I don't remember what I paid, I was just throwing a number out there because I know it was dirt cheap, in the $10-20 range, it may have actually been free+shipping. There's really no use for those bars except on our cars, so it should be easy to get a hold of cheap.

I got a tribeca FSB. With some mods got it to fit. I think im going to shave more off the tribeca bushings because my U clamps are pretty much squeezing the heck out of my bushings

Get these

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CNB4U0

They are "Energy Suspension" 25mm bushings. a few guys on SL-I.net are running them with the Tribeca bar. Perfect fit.
