USDM WRX shift linkage

Post by mTk »

I did a search, couldn't really find a definitive answer. Will the USDM WRX shift linkage assembly directly bolt into our AWD 5MT BC Legacies?

I see talk of an adapter needed for the STi linkage, is this needed for the WRX linkage? If so, anyone have a part #? Any other issues i may run into?

MK-
i would say its for sure that the wrx assembly would bolt right in. with the adapter you got from me. it would of worked out for me but the fwd bottom linkage is longer.
cheers,
Jim

With said adapter, yes it should work...

I bought a short-throw shifter from xcceleration.com back last Christmas. I then discovered it would take some fabwork, and I decided I'd rather have the $250 to do other stuff with, than fool around with it...
