Ya, they can. The beach I like in town has a nice rally style entrance, 1/2 mile or so. But the real kicker is when Im down there, I usually end up towing someone whos buried their truck upto its axles, and then driving through the water to take their spot. Everyone gets a laugh except the chump in the F250 (who hasnt an ounce of dignity left) with 4 or 5 hotties in the bed who are getting a good view of my "I <3 ASS" bumpersticker. Work hard, play harder. Everyone loves a Subaru.

Both your Legacies are nice!!

Can you tell me more about your headlight covers? Where did you get them from? How do they attach? How much did they cost? Do they come in clear?

 been there done that, nothing funnier than a 300$ subaru towing a bmw 760iL, ford f250, and a volvo fedex truck out of the same snowbank while hearing "what the hell ?!?" over and over again :-D

they where made when the car was new as aftermarket extras, i think the manufacturer is called ARP but im not sure, i sprayed them black as they only come in clear and they just clip on and are held securely by the hood when its down

Sounds like a great idea! But having them in the grille is different so its up to you. Myself, I would put them in the stock location for more of a factory look, but thats just me.

the conventional wisdom with solid mounts is to solid mount the engine only, and put poly or delrin at the trans. if you hard mount the tranny only, you WILL crack a tranny case.

it's been like that now for a good 2000 miles of HARD driving, and nothing yet, besides there are 2 bushes in the "H" brace under that mount.

Wow, I'm surprised to see a Camaro in Iceland.
