Garden Edging front lip

Post by comets »

I can't believe that a $6 piece of plastic can keep me entertained (working on it) for 2 hours.

12 screws and $6 dollars later (black plastic garden divider), I have a VERY VERY ghetto front lip.

1st off, I didn't trim my edging nicely, I was tired.
2nd, The screws are not lined up properly, and the silver shows
3rd, there are ripples, yes ripples, - another set of hands would've helped.
4 - it is very ghetto.

Functional? Probably not, looks good from VERY FAR away? Yes. Looks good up close, not a chance!

I don't dare showing a picture of it.

Since you don't seem too happy with the final results, I don't mind showing you the alternative. Not the greatest pic but it's what I can find. Go to Home Depot and pick up a garage door seal for like $12

Nice!

Any close up's, or closer shots? I like it.

Did you use double sided tape?

I am thinking of redoing it in the summer time, trimming it nicely, double sided tape, and only using half the screws for reinforcement.

BTW, nice grill - did you dremmel out the center?
