When I first saw the OB paint package on E-Bay I wasn't too sure about it. It was dealer applied aftermarket a few years ago. But it actually looks very nice in person. Way better than the stock all white with a little black trim piece running the whole length of the car. I'll post again when I get the GF's MY04 WRX 16" stockers on there in a few weeks.

Yea...I am pretty happy with it. It is the one that was on E-Bay. eastbaysubaru over at NASIOC clued me into it, and it turned out to be down in Colorado Springs, so I just drove down and got it.
The only cosmetic changes planned for it are some glass head lights and a bigger scoop to accomodate the TMIC. In a couple years I think I want to paint it BRP to match my RS, but that will be after I have built the engine, swapped the tranny and enjoyed it as a sleeper for a bit.
Just got the MBC and gauge today. Can't wait for Thanksgiving day to get up in the am and install them before getting stuffed.

I'd also like to get the glass headlights, but I keep coming back to the small fact that if one ever gets cracked it might be an enormous PITA to find another replacement.

So, I got hooked up with my GF's stock '04 WRX wheels. They still have the crappy RE-92's on them, but they will see me through the winter as they only have 12k mi on them. Next summer I will replace them with better rubber of the correct size for my speedo. But for now they are nice to drive. Substantially less roll on cornering. And they must make me faster because a BMW 535i decided he wanted to race me off the line and I beat him to 65 by half a car length...

535i 218hp and some ungodly weight, usually around 3600lbs. Plus, like all german cars (not vws, they're not cars) they are geared rather tall. I'm surprised you didnt smoke him off the line, but from 60-130 you woulda been toast.

Well,
I didn't realize he wanted to race until he had a half car on me and then I jumped on it, so he got a head start. I realize he would beat me in the 1/4 and was just being silly
As for the parking job it was strictly for the photo shoot. Right afterwards the space looked like this:

That's another turbo wagon owned by some gerriatric neighbor who drives it like once a week. I thought about putting a note on it when I was shopping for mine, but found mine before I got around to it.
BTW,
If anyone one is shopping for a turbo I know of a silver wagon and a teal sedan (auto) both for sale local to me...
