While I was trying to figure out how to set up my exhaust I saw tons of posts on here about what fits what and how etc.. Below are pictures of my modified 02-07 wrx/sti Greddy Evo Catback exhaust to show you exactly where it had to be cut in order to fit a 1993 turbo legacy. Please note: aftermarket downpipes for 02-07 wrx/sti are NOT the same length as the stock legacy downpipe. My Helix downpipe was about 3 inches longer than the stock one. The exhaust below is for an aftermarket DP. I know the weld on the front is ugly as hell ... but hey, it doesnt leak.

Also, just to note, the hanger on the driver's side of the muffler needs to be adjusted.
