what would you pay?

Post by silver03 »

90 Legacy LS AWD sedan, 173k on it, 5 spd, body (7 out of 10)...overheating. Well maintained otherwise, tires ok. Guy is asking $700, than calls me says I really need this thing gone, make me an offer. I don't need the car...I smell a possible opportunity, or I realize, I could be smelling a head gasket:(

I'd buy that car all day long for $4-500, fix the headgaskets, and throw it back on CL for $2000 going into the winter. Up in Duluth that car as is would probably be selling for $1000
