As far as I know, Subaru only ever had 1 DIN and 1.5 DIN pockets, never a half din. You'll probably have to fab something up.

I just sold two 1.5 DIN pockets. I'm fresh out. Keep an eye on this forum though, they come up every once in a while. 
You can buy one for about $36 bucks at the dealership brand new. That's what I did to get mine. Let me know if you want the part number and I will dig it up for you.

Still never heard of a .5 DIN, the best I've seen is people make custom .5 block off plates and sometimes sell them on here. I would think .5 DIN would be too small to be really useful for anything. Plus Subaru only had a few different stereo sizes and combos for these cars, I don't think .5 DIN was ever left over. Maybe a different brand of car had one at some point that fits?
Remember, 2.5DIN total in the opening:
Combo 1:
Base Stereo (1 DIN)
Pocket (1.5 DIN)
Combo 2:
Stereo/Cassette (1.5 DIN)
Pocket (1 DIN)
Combo 3:
Stereo/Cassette (1.5 DIN)
CD Expansion (1 DIN)
