head unit problem after reconnecting battery...

Post by wakingtowinter »

So I had to disconnect the battery today to do some work and when I reconnected it, I found that the head unit (Pioneer P5800MP) won't change sources. Looks like it only has tuner mode. I usually use aux mode for my ipod, but now when I hit the src button, it does nothing, won't go to aux mode. Any ideas of how I can fix this? Thanks!

You have a Pioneer issue, not a Suby issue, but the Aux input on the pioneer is OFF by default. With the car power ON and the Pioneer power OFF, push and hold the function button or audio button if the function does not work. This should pull up the menu where you can turn the AUX input on or off.
