I was bored, browsing the internet movie car database and found a couple of turbo 1st gens:

I've never seen an SS or TW in anything but Seinfeld. However, it is nice to see some Legacys in a few well known films/shows.

Thought id try a thread and see if it stuck, with literally millions of Legacys on the streets they tend to sneak into commercials, movies, music videos even TV.

Today I noticed a 90-91 legacy L in Absolute Power about 1:39:30 parked on the side of the road. Clint Eastwood almost runs over the driver as he rushes to save the leading lady.

A while back I noticed this one in an allstate add.

I've noticed a few 1st gens on tv not long ago. I saw the back of a pre facelift sedan on a cell phone ad last year. During the first season of American Pickers, there was a nice blue first gen wagon sitting in the background. Once there was a white sedan parked out front in an episode of American Choppers too..

I found a silver 91 Legacy while watching Dirty Jobs.. Its season 7 episode 8 and its around the 15 minute mark.. Mike Rowe is on a fork lift doing donuts in a parking lot and behind him a 90-91 legacy pulls out behind him!

I've heard Jeremy Clarkson mention the Subaru Legacy on Top Gear, referring to a list of cars they agree that they like...

What model do they test? They don't get one of those "used car" challenges and end up with one of our 1st gens, do they? If so I gotta find that episode!

Edit 2: What rubbish... the Legacy was discussed for all of 5 seconds and his comments were not kind. Must be another episode where they find a Legacy they all "like".

I really would like to see how one of our 1st gen SS models would hold up to some of their used car challenges... anyone know if they ever did that with a Legacy?
