Anything wrong with trying an ECU from a junk car?
There's two Legacy's in the junk yard near work and
they'll see the ECU's for $25 each. Seems like a good
deal and I think it's worth a shot.

Yeah I think that's a good idea. ECU's usually don't go bad, so for $25, that's a pretty good deal IMO, especially if it fixes your problem.

They had a 92 and a 91...manual *sigh* So I bought
a coil pack since it was only $20 just in case and
no dice :/
