I can't verify if it's good or not, but there's a 5mt sitting in the back of a 93 L wagon at the PnP down here. Car is wrecked (implying that it came in totaled, not dead) and it had under 200k miles.

If I can get "Big Hoss" to come to the PnP with me, I can get it for $100 if he can carry it out. I'm fairly certain I'd crap myself trying to carry it.

Let me know if you're interested.

EDIT: I may have been looking at bad info. If it's only 110-120lbs, I can carry it out no problem. I thought I had read they were 300lbs. Can anyone confirm?

To my knowledge it was an N/A car.

I'm located in Southern Oregon if you're interested.

120ish sounds about right for the 5-speed; 4EAT/Automatice might be 300...but it's definitely a lot more than the 5-speed.

Too bad it's an NA...Good luck Matt,

Yes, he is.....he's fixing my bad #2 cylinder next weekend...:-)

I think you'll have a better outcome than buying used, too.

yea, i just REALLY hope that the parts aren't too expensive. I have a feeling OEM tranny internals have a hefty price tag on them
