Ej22t swap
Hey I have a 95impreza L awd coupe witch comes stock with an 1,8l ..so im dropping in a ej22t furst gen rebuilt engine and i was wondering if all i need is just replace the ecu rather then the whole wire harness. Thanks

I'm thinking probably the entire harness but you might be able to get away with less. I know with NA legacys you add a few pins and wires and the EJ22T ECU and be good to go. Of course, you'll need the factory boost control solenoid and MAP sensor.

is ur 95 a obd 1 or obd 2? obd1 u can just swap and add a few wires. and the ecu

What does the ECU plugs look like? If the plugs are the same as the EJ22t ECU, I'd just move pins around to make things work, vs rewiring the harness. The engine plugs will be different, so you'll have to deal with that.
