1994 legacy wagon turbo partout gauging interest

Post by magicmike »

No luck on the sale and I want this car gone. Thinking of pulling the motor and all the electronics out and scraping the shell.

Any interest in a fully rebuilt ej22t with less than 10k miles?
IHI VF-34 with less than 10k miles?
also, full turbo back CES exhaust with high flow cat?
AVCR boost controller?
A/D/S seperates with custom spacers ??

Any interest at all?????

Thanks,

MIke

I'd like the exhaust, but I just spent a ton of money on shit, leant someone some, and I'm not sure I want to spend anything more on this car until it's actually driving again. I keep juggling between my lack of motivation to get it running vs. bikes and kayaks and dumping the car and building a de Havilland Mosquito and BAT 7 inspired aero Miata coupe.

I'd like 1500 for the engine w/o the turbo. When rebuilding it I had the whole thing taken apart. New bearings, new pistons, new rings, re-honing, completely new gaskets. The labor alone was 1500 from the engine guy.

I also purchased all new OEM oil pump, water pump, timing belt tensioner, new timing belt etc. Everything NEW. The only thing that went back on this motor that came off the old were the sensors and even some of those are new (i.e. knock) In all I think I spent close to 3-4k rebuilding the motor.

The exhaust is a full dual dump 3" ceramic coated DP with full stainless with resonator to a passthrough muffler. I paid 2k for the exhaust including shipping (stupid me I know). I'd ask 750 for it.

At that point your best bet would be to buy the whole car and do a shell swap if your body is in good condition.

Interest? YES!!! Money? No. :( Mike, if I had the funds, I'd buy the engine and exhaust from you right now!
