Post by speezly »

I know this is kinda a drivetrain thread, but is there a trick to getting the tranny out the way so i can remove my m'f'n clutch and flywheel and get this rms properly seated? Any advice is appreciated.

I'm guessing you have the non-turbo transmission? You pretty much have to drop the trans to get at the seal. Are you asking how to drop the trans, or am I missing what you're asking.

I over looked something super simple in the process. I got it out.

Wanna mention what it is you overlooked, so other people know to watch out for it?

Was it the 10mm hex shaft that holds the clutch fork in? I wrestled for over an hour with an engine before calling someone for advice and was told about that damn hex shaft.
