bummer for both those guys. not so much for the painter guy, he derseved it, thats just not cool.. im sure the kid provoked it some how. flaunting his whip and stuff. but i would have to beat some old man ass too if it happend to me. even on my 94 carpy paint wagon. and in the middle of the day to top it off. that guy had to have been drunk.lol

I'd call it a tie. One dumb asshole gets charged with vandalism, and one cocky punk gets charged with 1st degree assault.

Why (and what) did the guy paint on the kids car(can kinda see it in the video)? Seriously not cool. Thats just asking for an ass whoopin. What was going through his head? I suspect there is more going on somewhere. That or the guy is a total freak.

The kid.... where do I start? Catches the guy in the act and gives him a beating. Ok to this point I can "Turn a blind eye". Then he Sticks around and videotapes (?) himself bragging about beating the guy and implying that he could have killed the guy. Um..... dude. I understand anger and all that. but really? Then he posts it to Youtube and claims he was protecting his property. That MIGHT have worked without the video. Protecting your property(not home) only allows force as necessary to stop damage(unless your in Texas). By word of the law that means making the person stop. once the person stops you have no legal right to touch them.

Giving the person a beating and telling the police you where protecting you property will probably get you a wink and a knowing nod. Documenting it and posting it to a public medium is just giving the guy ammo to come back at you with assault charges.

He painted the date of Pearl Harbor "12-7" and "USN" across the whole side of the Mitsu. The assumption is he did it because mitsubishi manufactured the planes that the Japanese flew into Pear Harbor and it happened on or very close to the anniversary date of PH. From the looks of the video I don't think the two had any prior relations. I think the guy was shitfaced and probably an alcoholic and got the bright idea of going out and tagging some Mitsubishis.

The kid who did it is an idiot. He went too far.
