The bad
After 2 transmition rebuilds the trans STILL slips in 4th. Good solid engagement from 3rd to 4th but if you try to accelerate or pull a hill it slips. great for cruising steady.
speedometer stopped working, not a broken cable, Chalked it up to the shoddy transmition work and walked away.
Brake light on, newer brake pads on all 4 corners, brakes and ABS both work properly, Suspect a dusty sensor
Engine light on, o2 sensor code. A quick glance at the Wideband tells you the o2 sensor is working, suspect the lowband simulator was never wired to the ECU
Electric Radio Antenna Broken off.
Mechanicals 8/10
Exterior 9/10 (door dings such)
Interior 9/10 (Carpet frayed by drivers seat where I rest my foot)
Runs, drives, stops, Passed DEQ with flying colors in march (fresh tags), great Compression and leakdown tests. Pulls hard at stock (10 psi) boost.
Having to give up my career along with taking over care of my grandson means I can no longer afford to spend time or money on my beloved SS.
I do not wish to sell my car but am in a position where I need to. Either your interested or your not. I have over $20,000 invested in this car, trying to get me to sell it for Kelly blue book ($2250) is a waste of your time and mine. You pay me what I want or I keep the car, I win either way.
