crunching fix

hey guys i have a 92 rs gt legacy converted to rwd i use it as a daily/skid hack my gearbox is starting to crunch, probably means my scynro's are toast but is there anything i can add to the gearbox to make it not eg,oil stabilizer , cheers josh

Some have had ok luck with some of the redline lightweight shock proof fluid cocktails, but it's a bandaid at best.

I just did the red line lightweight shockproof with 1 quart of motul 300 mix and noticed ZERO improvement. Now I'm worried because red line says not to use it in transmissions with synchros. That was a waste of over $80. The old red line 75w90NS was only about 10K old and came out looking new. There were metal shavings on the drain plug though.
