That's a decent amount of snow Kimo. We've had some overnight accumulation like that here in Fairbanks this winter, but mainly it's f'in cold. Too cold to snow! We're dipping into -45-50 at night, and it's -30 right now at 11:30am. I'm ready for this winter to be over. That snow is nothing like my home town of Cordova, it's been in the news with all the snow they've gotten lately. The National Guard had to go there to help the dig-out efforts. The town ran out of shovels.

No doubt. Probably the worst aspect of it all is I'm up all night with nothing to do now and I can't even leave the house.

Is it? Pretty normal price round these parts. Just remember hats the cheapest gas you can get. Its 10-20 cents more at the better stations.

Leaving home was a mistake. The roads were fine but it started raining after I got to my friends house. On my way home I started seeijg trees across the road and as I rounded a corner I saw a 4" thick tree across my lane and was unable to stop. Hit it at 15 mph and broke my windshield and it drug across my roof. I'm bummed out now.

When I got home there were trees across the road preventing me from reaching my house. I didn't feel safe on our road because of the massive amount of trees and just standing there for a few minutes you can hear trees exploding and branches and trees falling everywhere. I there's power lines down on my road and you can see them steaming in the snow.

Shitty day. If you live around western washington! Stay home. Its straight up dangerous. A man up north just died from a tree falling on him outside his garage.

Holy crap Kimo, glad you're alright. I thought we had bad weather, but up here it's just the cold to contend with. That and the other shitty drivers on the roads. That really sucks about the windshield and scraping the roof. I would be bummed out too. This fall I got my windshield replaced and it was about $300 installed. You gotta get some winter tires on there pronto. That might have helped you avoid the tree a little bit better.

And to think I was going to say you're lucky for having 92 octane premium for only $3.69 a gallon.

Yeah snow tires may have prevented it. I just can't find any around here. I'm not paying for brand new either.

I am so jealous. We have less than an inch on the ground right now and its mid Jan... what a worthless winter here.

Jealous lol. I hate snow. You can have it all. We've been without power for about 30 hours and there's no yelling when they fix all the lines that are down.
