Fuel starvation issues

Post by slaytalera »

Hey guys, im having a pretty bad issue with fuel starvation when below half a tank of gas. Everyday i take this one right hand turn onto a side road thats down hill, and if im below half a tank of gas i kind of have to coast through it....wait....then give it gas, other wise i get this jerking which I am assuming is fuel starvation. Im not taking the corner hot at all and it still does it, could it be a clogged filter? Maybe I need a fuel pump? What order should I go about diagnosing this issue? The CEL is on for the purge solenoid valve but i dont think its that

What model car?

I had this problem with the OEM fuel pump. Once I upgraded to the Walbro, problem went away. I seem to recall it was also sweeping right hand turns onto highways too.
