Getting ready for a version 3 JDM swap.
I already have a obd1 jdm engine in my car now getting ready to put a obd2 jdm engine in my car. Its a 93 ss. what do I need to make the wiring work? can I use my same ECU then get it chipped or tuned? Need some answers if anyone has them
Re: Getting ready for a version 3 JDM swap.
What ECU are you currently running?
You'll either need to try and run engine harness that runs under the intake manifold from the old motor on the new motor so the electrical connectors match up behind the battery. If you don't or can't go that route, the wiring becomes more tricky.
