New guy from IL. First Legacy, fourth Subaru

I bought my first Legacy last week. I've owned Impreza's since '05, and have been wanting to pick up a winter beater and something to keep the miles off my WRX. I picked up my first Impreza in '05, a 2001 2.5RS. That has been through quite a bit, and now resides as an idle rally project on jackstands. I bought another 2.5RS, an aspen white coupe in '08 as a daily. I recently sold that, and I bought a 2006 WRX last April as the new daily.

Now, this '91 SS is the new daily. 176k miles, everything seems to work, a little rust around the wheel wells, and a fairly dirty interior. Love it! I hate to call it a beater, it's been great over the past few days. Can't wait to really put some miles on it. With the open downpipe, it needs a little work to tone it down. I plan on simply maintaining the car, no plans for modification in any way. The blue RS needs some lovin'.

I live in IL, work as a manufacturing engineer, and get out to rallies when I can. Been crewing since '06, and started co-driving in '08.

^^ Thank you sir, I was pleased with how they look. Though I do wish they were Speedlines. They are actually Team Dynamic Pro Rally 1's originally meant for my blue RS. I have two sets of gravels sitting around that need used sooner than later.

DevC - haha good observation. Previous owner has plenty of Dodge and Chrysler vehicles.
