Help Identifying a part.

Post by 92turbooooo »

Found this on the back of a boost control solenoid. http://gallery.me.com/sm9010#100059 It came off of a 93 Tleg AT junk yard find. A JECS boost solenoid perhaps? Thanks

That's a resistor used for coils inside the transmission. Similar to resistors used on old school ignition coils.

Can be ignored and removed on manual transmission cars.
