Transmission Noise ?

hi guys.i have a problem with my subaru legacy.Bad humming noise coming in my transmission.i recorded that noise.

what is the problem.service said me ring and pinion wasted. can it be ?

and can i install gc8 transmission to my 1.8 subaru ?

Can you describe the noise a little bit. I hear something during one spot of the video, but it's hard to make out.

Does it sound like it's coming from the front or rear of the car?

it is like a friction noise.it is coming from front of the car.Can it be axles ? car is front-wheel drive transmission type tm702 and i cant find parts

Without some further troubleshooting, it'll be difficult to determine.

Since your car is FWD, you should be able to use pretty much any other Subaru FWD transmission.
