Early Legacy EJ20G Timing Belt kit compatibility Question???

Post by kdshroyer »

I have been searching a bunch and I come up with a few different answers. The one that comes up the most is a ej25 dohc timing belt kit will work for the early style ej20g.

With that said... Will this kit work?

Thank you,

That kit should fit, and it's kind of nice that it includes the cam and crank seals, but I wouldn't recommend trusting your interference engine to these apparently unbranded parts...

So do not purchase this kit because it is not oem or a "known" manufacturer?

Thanks for the reply

Yes. I used one meant for a 1998 2.5RS, so any DOHC from that era should be fine.
