Help with my parts

Post by General Led »

Im looking for parts for my 93' Turbo Subaru Legacy and I was curious if the 96 CV boot will fit my 93 Turbo Legacy? Also will (96) power steering and a (96) passanger axle fit without a problem?

Welcome to the BBS.

The boot should work, but you'll have to look at your cv axle to know for sure.

Does the 96 have ABS? The parts book shows different part #'s, but that doesn't always mean they wouldn't work. Are you talking about the front or rear passenger axles?

Are you talking about the power steering rack or pump?

I'm pretty sure the tie rod end design is different between the first gen legacy and the second gen. If that is the case, you could probably just switch the tie rod ends to the ones from your steering rack.

Does the 96 have ABS?

as far as the rack goes they are the same. I am sure on the years mentioned. I am currently harvesting parts from a 91 turbo that i can use on my 97 legacy. And the rack is common across alot of subarus.

Well I was thinking there may be a difference in axles between the non-abs & abs, but now I'm not so sure. Do you have any pictures of the 96 axles?
