2- TD04's

Post by mike-tracy »

After determining that my installed TD04 is infact working fine, I'm letting go of the other two I have lying around.

The 1st one with the slight damage to the exhaust housing:

After looking closer, the damage doesn't extend to the gasket area, so it's not a problem to use a standard gasket. This one has slight side to side play but no in/out play and no wall contact or evidence of past wall contact. I used this with a thicker gasket just to be safe but it should be fine either way. I may still have a brand new thick gasket to include with sale. Also includes the 90* silicone bend. Unknown miles - $90 shipped.

2nd one - still mounted on my wrx engine:

Absolutely no in/out or side to side play. Real nice condition, just a little surface rust on the exhaust housing from sitting in the shed. Lowish miles from what I'm told. $125 shipped.

bump - these should be pretty reasonably priced, from the research I did. "they" say the TD04 isn't a huge upgrade over the VF11, but I'm now at least as fast as a stock WRX, and was woefully slower before.

the turbos are almost the same.. the vf11 will spool faster but the td04 will have more top end power....

I'd say that's a benefit, lol. No ecu or injector changes needed for this upgrade.
