The steering wheel needs a roll connector from a newer Subaru which just plugs in to the under dash harness. Mine was from a '98 Outback. My original cruise switch wouldn't work easily, so I used the WRX cruise switch which did work. The horn is a simple plug-in deal and it works. The airbag does not work since the firing system is completely different, so I had to block off the "AIRBAG" warning on the cluster. I pulled up the fascia and stuck a piece of electrical tape over the airbag light from the back so you can't see it and it blocks the light perfectly.
The steering wheel makes a big difference in how the car feels to drive, it's just so much nicer than the stock wheel.
