Post by fatlace92 »

I have a 92 legacy wagon with an ej22t and was wanting to upgrade the engine a bit and heard about the hybrid swaps people are doing to them. just wondering if anyone here has done a hybrid swap on theres? i have a few questions.

will ej25d heads bolt right up?

Short answer is yes, but please, please spend some time searching in the various technical sections.

On bbs.legacycentral.org, you see several sub-sections under the
BC-BF Legacy Discussion:
section.

Now since you are asking about heads, I'd start in the engine sub-section.
At the top of most subsections are topics that have an icon like this Image next to them.

These are called "stickeys" and they have links to important pages in a given subsection.
The one in the engine subsection is called: Sticky Compilation Thread. There's a couple on DOHC heads in there.

Failing that, the search bar uses google to search the site. In the 10 or so years this site has been up, it's hard to find things that haven't been covered before. It's a huge resource for these cars!

Good luck, and if you really can't find the answers by searching, post back and we'll do our best.

I'd suggest reading over The DOHC installation 'unspoken' details thread
