I am parting out my 1994 Subaru Impreza L with a rebuilt EJ22T. Some of the items include:
EJ22T with a TD04 and WRX top mount - $1200
3" turbo-back exhaust complete with 3" bell mouth downpipe - $500
Gold 5 spoke 2.5RS wheels with 205/50-16 Yokohama S-drives - $600
Stage 2 Bully clutch for Impreza L - $500
Version 3 STI struts and springs - $100
WRX 2 piston front calipers, pads, and rotors - $200
2000 2.5RS front seats - $100
2000 2.5RS rear disc hub conversion - $50
Red 94' Impreza Wagon shell w/full interior, windows, lights, etc. Basically whatever does not get parted out - $1500

Why doesn't it run? Is the engine not in?

The car ran fine after the swap, but I had not properly protected the wires from the heat of the turbo and a bunch of them melted
. Everything is in the car. I'd prefer to sell the whole thing, but if I can't and I have enough interest in parts then I will start pulling stuff off. So the reason the car doesn't run is because the wiring is F'd up. Rip and all the wiring and redo it and you've got a really solid car. I wish I could do it but I've moved and have no space and the car is stored 2 hours away from me.
