I noticed oil drips under my car. It didn't do this a few months ago.
I put a clean plate under where its dripping and found that its ATF, because its pink.
Is it likely from the pan gasket and if so, how difficult is it to repair it?

It's a PITA due to the old gasket material sticking to the pan, but if you're patient and careful to not nick the pan sealing surface, it's not technically hard. Ensure you use a good sealant on the pan (not a cork or other gasket) and don't over tighten the screw. The orange or red sealant, called 'Right stuff' by Permatex or get it @ the dealer. Or the other common RTV sealants supposedly work.

Have you confirmed it's from the ATF and not the power steering rack? They both use ATF.
As for the gasket on the pan, permatex ultra grey.

WTF!?
I drained the fluid, left it on ramp overnight while letting RTV cure. Filled with fluid.
Now "Power" is flashing and its having trouble starting in first and slipping like hell.
I weighed what came out and weighed in the same amount. So, I think the fill level isn't the issue...

Did you check the ATF level? How many quarts did you drain out of the trans?

five qts. but it didn't seal with RTV, so I had to drain and redo it. Permatex Ultra black. WAHHHH
I redid it with rubber gasket.
I drained most of the fluid into the jug and reused the fluid.
When I started the car, "power" flashed again, but after I shifted through gears, it went away.
Restarted and code 12 didn't come back. Hopefully it won't come back.
One of the threads in the corner is stripped out. Fortunately, bolt hole goes to the other side of flange which is accessible. Is there a clamp type thing I can use to pinch the ends so the cover is held correctly?
If not, I'll have to see if I can thread a smaller bolt from above and use a nut.

As far as cleaning the gasket material off the pan, it will not hurt if the pain on that area is removed some. It is not good to add any scratches to it though. What I use is a 3/8 drill motor with a wire brush, a softer wire wheel will not remove the paint as easy, but will remove the gasket and sealer if used. Only do that to the pan. For the transmission case using a good gasket scraper and being careful not to scratch or gouge it.
