fog light switches...

Post by mcbrat »

since selling my SS in Feb, I no longer need this (plus my spares)

factory fog light switch and factory trim piece to fit in the small blank area on left side of dash...
Brand New. $40

gen2 legacy fog light switch (same shape, but no bumps like the Gen1's had), with a trim panel to fit small area on left side of dash. trim panel is cut down cruise trim.. $10 I have 2 of these.

prices include shipping to CONUS.

Interested in the factory fog switch and panel for firstgen. Can I get pictures? Is it from an EDM car?

I found the part numbers in a thread here a long time ago, and ordered them from my parts guy (RetroRoo).
I even ordered the blank plate too. probably cost about $60 to get the factory parts...

I added blank plates for the second slot, and have pigtails there too, just incase for future use...

as you can see in the non-factory pics, my cut job on the plates isn't perfect, but it will work for a 20 year old car :)

This is one of those things that the 1990's could be optioned with iirc, like Josh was saying.

Where do these switches go, just out of curiosity? Do they go where the cruise & rear defrost are, or do they go in the little cubby hole below that?

They go next to defrost, or if optioned with cruise, below in the cubbyhole.

Ok, so they do go in that cubby hole. You can kind of see it in this pic.
