So I'm thinking about to buy a ej20g ecu and it requires 98 Ron, what would be the safe equivent to use?
What I've seen so far is 98 Ron= 93 octane, so where I'm at we have 91 octane since Denver is a mile above sea level, can I run 91 octane in a 98 Ron tune?

It would probably work given your elevation.
Safe bet would be to talk to Rob and have him tune your EJ20G ECU. There is a thread about it on here.

+1 to it should work. My scooter is required to have 87 but when I was up in your area all I could find was 85 and it ran well. I asked a few other bike forums and a GoldWing rider had a chart that listed the required octain at sealevel and its equal at 5000 and 11,000 feet above. I wished I had copied that chart.
