motor mount fitment

Post by Flatfourced »

on lunch break so i dont have too much time to dig too deep.

I have a broken motror mount in my outback. Clunk clunk at idle and motor is moving in excess when i rev it.

So, i want to good group N ones and can get a deal on them from a buddy that works at a GM dealership. But he orders from a subi dealer and no refunds..

So i want to get it right. in short 97 legy outback, with ej22t. These subaru part numbers, from 04 wrx sti, 41022fe050, and 41022fe060. They should be the group N mounts superseeding the old crappy mounts.

Just want to make sure these will work alright. Also the bracket / heat shield that mounts the mount to the engine, will work from the ej22t? or do i need these brackets for the sti also?

I can get them from my work, but or anchor mounts are no better than stuffing a pack of marshmallows in there.

Thanks for any help

I'm not sure whether the mounts on the STi are the same as the hardened group n mounts. I can't seem to find any part #'s. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

They will work. Used them on my rally car.

Thanks for the advice, after careful consideration i decided to go for the ancor mounts (sti ones of course). Yea they suck, but they are cheap and unbroken lol.

It's hard to afford performance upgrades when repairs pop up like this. O well that's what i get for trying to make an sti out of a 200k outback lol.
