Potenial problem..

Post by LGT Kirby »

I recently purhased a 93 Touring wagon with a blown headgasket. Just got done tearing the engine apart, and found what looks lke block sealer/head gasket leak stop stuff in there. Is this a problem for my internals? I am still not sure if I want to split the halves and put in new internals or not.

Thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

Thanks,

It shouldn't be a problem in my opinion, I would just clean it all up, the chemicals in the sealer should not mess up your internals by just being over them
