Also did my wrx seats. Was tired of sitting too high. I unbolted the rails from the seats. Drilled out the rivets on the one side and used a cutting wheel to get to the rest. I took the part that the bolts go trough to anchor the seat to the car. So i took those off, and welded them to the wrx rails.
Drool. You're on your way to my dream legacy. Just need an EJ257 swap complete with dash and ECU and harness and 6MT and then a nice paint job and roll cage and harnesses and well shit, a lot lol.

Getting ready to paint it. Flared out the fenders some, and filled the new dents with some bondo. Also fixing all the dents. I'm not the one doing the body work. My friend is. He's been doing it for 20 years. I'm just there for moral support. Ha.
I'm shooting for late spring, early summer, on completion of body work and paint.
So you have been up to something all this time. I'd sure like a new paint job. Fresh. Coat of pearl white....

Got some more sanding done this weekend. Sanding SUUUUKKSSS. With all the prep labor going into this thing, I may never sell this car. There's a lot of "sweat equity" going into this thing.
It's probably going to be one of the top 10 (first gen) legacys in the world...or maybe at least the US.
