HI everyone im fairly new here so sorry if this is a stupid question, i found this wrx coolant tank and more or less wondering if you this one will work

I didn't see in the ad the sizes of the hose nipples, but assuming that they're the same size as the hoses on the legacy, it should work. But we all know what happens when we make assumptions...
A good number of Legacy-ists have adapted a stock WRX expansion tank to work with much success. You should be able to find one for the same money, or less, and it will undoubtedly be of better quality.

+1 for the WRX tank. I'm pretty sure all years have the same fittings we do, and they're available in your choice of plastic (newer 1-piece) or metal (older rebuildable 2-piece).
