Towing with an Auto AWD leggy?

Post by Lance »

I have a trip i need to make from slc utah to portland oregon. i need to hook up a flat bed trailer with my furniture on it. bed couch tv dressers and my craftsman tool box. i plan on taking the passenger seats out of the car and putting electronics inside but my main question is i suppose whats the highest weight an auto should be able to pull? driving easy and with a trans cooler. :/

Stock second gen Legacys with an auto were rated to tow 2,000 lbs with an appropriate hitch and no more than 200 lbs tongue weight. I don't know for sure on first gens, but it makes sense that it would be just as capable.
