KEY BROKE IN IGNTION!!!!

hey guys awesome day today my freaking key broke off in the ignition when i was trying to leave work tried to fiddle with it to get the car to start with no luck.

I need to get the rest of the key out and have no idea how to do it, can anyone help me out with some ideas taht have worked?

Solder a thin piece of metal to it? or get some 5 second glue from the hobby shop and put some on the end of a thing piece of metal and hold it on the end of the key in the hole and maybe hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer for a couple mins just to make sure it dries. Or you might be able to removed the plastic trim covers around the steering column and ground a wire feed welder to the ignition and tac the wire feed onto the end of the key by just tapping the trigger briefly and yank it out.

One of those ideas is bound to work. Or you could remove the ignition and disassemble it maybe.

Yeah.....I think using a paper clip end or wire with glue or something on the end to attach to the broken key would be the best route.

tried some nonsense with super glue really skinny tweezers and tape. the key just broke off to far it, had to call a lock smith he had it out in like 3 mins.

Oh man, that sucks. Do you need a new ignition? i think i still have one sitting in my garage with key.
